West Hartford Republican Town Committee's Executive Commitee is elected annually by WHRTC members
Dennis Swanton moved to West Hartford in 2002. He and his wife Eileen have two children, Connor a Freshman at Manhattan College and Abigail a Junior at Conard High. Dennis works as a Corporate Accounts Manager for Halyard Health and a graduate of Siena College. Dennis is very active within West Hartford he was a coach and director of Fundraising for West Hartford Little League, and a coach for West Hartford Girls and Boys Lacrosse. He is also very active with his church St. Peter of Claver, The Knights of Columbus and CCD. Dennis is currently the Co-President of the War-Chiefs Sports Council and works with Eileen, Connor and Abigail on the West Hartford Freedom Run a 5K Run.
Chris has served as Co-Vice Chair of the West Hartford Republicans since 2016. A veteran of several Connecticut campaigns, Chris has worked on or managed races for Governor, U.S. Congress, State Senate, State Representative, as well as a number of local races. Chris currently serves as President of a statewide trade association representing over 200 commercial construction companies. He resides in West Hartford with his wife Michelle and Reagan, their beagle.
James is an Attorney with the law firm of Leone, Throwe, Teller & Nagle as well as a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar. James currently serves as a Commissioner on the West Hartford Town Planning and Zoning/IWWA Commission. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with a J.D. in 2015, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Fordham University. James graduated from Conard High in 2007.
Ryan grew up in West Hartford, graduating from Conard High in 1995. He attended George Washington University for his BA in International Affairs, and earned his MBA from Babson College in 2008. After working for General Electric in Connecticut, Texas and California, Ryan returned to West Hartford for good. He and his wife Audrey live in town with their two dogs, Harp and Guinness. Ryan works as a Sales Manager for Artis Energy, an analytics and technology company based in Middletown.
Kaye has been a West Hartford resident for 25 years after having
been recruited from Ohio to teach home economics at Hall High
School. She holds a B.S. in Education from Ohio University, an MS
in Education from the University of Hartford, and an MA from the University of St. Joseph.
Kaye has been a member of the West Hartford RTC since 1992.
